Veterinary Client Care Concierge, General Practice
Looking for a veterinary receptionist job where you can make a meaningful impact for pets and the people who love them? Bulger Veterinary Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Client Concierge to join our General Practice team in Lawrence, MA.
Compensation:
- $21$23/hour based on experience and skillset
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM 2:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for clients throughout their visithelping create a smooth, welcoming experience while partnering closely with doctors and clinical teams to support exceptional patient care. Responsibilities As a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Concierge, you will:
- Welcome clients and pets while providing a warm, personalized experience throughout their visit
- Serve as a primary point of contact for General Practice clients from arrival through discharge
- Coordinate appointments including consultations, rechecks, procedures, and drop-offs
- Support multi-department scheduling when needed
- Admit and discharge patients while maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Communicate with clients regarding appointments, treatment updates, estimates, follow-up care, and next steps
- Review upcoming appointments to ensure records and documentation are complete before the visit
- Process payments, invoices, estimates, and assist with billing-related questions
- Coordinate with doctors and hospital departments to ensure a seamless client and patient experience
- Address client questions and concerns with professionalism, compassion, and excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, Veterinary Client Service Representative, Medical Receptionist, Medical Secretary, or in a customer-facing healthcare role preferred
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy veterinary hospital setting
- Comfortable handling scheduling, medical records, and financial transactions with accuracy
- Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
