Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Anesthetist)

Duties
Provide the full range of anesthesia services.
Determine the optimal type and method of anesthesia care to administer for a broad range of surgical procedures at the MTF.
Provide immediate, post-operative care to patients transported to the PACU, ICU or recovery area; ensure patient airway, hemodynamic stability, optimal pain control and appropriate level of consciousness.
Collaborate with the anesthesia, surgical and multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based care.
Formulate and evaluate clinical care standards and treatment programs for effectiveness in meeting patient needs.
Conduct and participate in educational programs that improve anesthesia nursing practice.
