Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Mid Shift | Onsite | Shifts available in 8s, 10s, and 12s starting at 6:45 AM; 10-hour shifts preferred based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a 9-suite OR, including a dedicated cardiac suite, averaging 25–30 cases per day
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedics (total joints, trauma, spine, Mako robot-assisted), neurosurgery, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, and urology, including DaVinci robotic procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation including 2–3 weeknights per 6-week rotation (11 PM–7 AM) and weekend call coverage in 12-hour increments from 7 PM Friday through 7 AM Monday
• Respond to call within 30 minutes as required
• Collaborate with OR technicians and charge nursing staff throughout all shifts
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR; Epic training provided during onboarding if needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements including weeknight, weekend, and holiday rotations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Scrubbing experience (preferred but not required for RNs)
• Prior experience with Epic EMR
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms (Mako, DaVinci)
