Travel Pharmacist Opportunity

Assignment Details:

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Shift Length: 7.5-hour shifts

Shifts: Rotating shifts, including:

• 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM

Weekly Compensation:

Gross Weekly Pay: Up to $3,655

Taxable Pay: $1,044/week

Non-Taxable Stipends: $2,611/week (for eligible travelers)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacist experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy
• Active New York State Pharmacist License (NYSED) with Primary Source Verification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems
• Sterile compounding/sterile processing experience
• IV room experience
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately review, prepare, and dispense medications
• Verify prescriptions and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Prepare and verify sterile IV medications as needed
• Maintain accurate medication records using the facility's pharmacy and EMR systems
• Provide medication counseling and clinical support when appropriate
• Ensure patient safety through adherence to established pharmacy best practices
