Perks and benefits may include tuition paid upfront at network schools, free lunch, free parking, free theme park admission and much more!Part-Time Massage Therapist- Responsible for providing exceptional guest service while providing massages/other related services to guests for therapeutic and remedial reasons, administering body conditioning treatments by applying various approved substances to the guests body.Responsibilities:Provide consistent professional massage treatments in accordance with Spa protocols and accepted certification practicesAbility to properly apply alcohol, lubricants and other substances to the guests bodyAbility to massage body by properly kneading, rubbing and stroking the flesh to stimulate circulation, relax tight muscles and provide other beneficial effectsProperly care for equipment and use proper amounts of products to be cost effectivePossess complete knowledge of all services and products while educating and training guests.Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and proceduresPerform prep work and properly clean and restock room as requiredActively promote spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs and promotionsHandle guests questions and concerns professionally and courteouslyProvide accurate and immediate responses to all requests by guests ensuring complete guest satisfactionRegularly attend/participate in and support ongoing training to continue to be knowledgeable about current spa trendsMust be able to perform all massage treatments offered by Resort spaBasic Qualifications:Licensed Massage Therapist with the State of HawaiiMust have enthusiasm and possess excellent guest service skillsExcellent communication and listening skillsPrevious experience in a Spa or Hotel environmentPrevious experience with ability to handle difficult/sensitive situations with minimal/no supervisionAbility to confidently utilize service recovery methodsProactive in anticipating guest needsKnowledgeable about Resort and surrounding areaMust be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this rolePreferred Qualifications:Previous Massage Therapist experience preferredBasic computer knowledgeAdditional Information:SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Part-Time: Must be available for a minimum of 3 full days of availability, including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
