UpBar Barback

The Barback assists bartenders by stocking supplies, preparing garnishes, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the bar is fully equipped throughout service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to gain experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Prepare garnishes and ingredients for cocktails.
• Keep bar areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Remove empty bottles, trash, and used glassware.
• Assist with receiving and storing inventory.
• Refill ice bins and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Support bartenders during busy service periods.
• Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service in accordance with local laws.
