Job Description

Responsible for managing the monthly and weekly accounting processes for one of our locations within a business unit. This role involves providing critical financial services for main facilities, including handling accounts payable, account reconciliations, and accounts receivable. You will work closely with General Managers at the facility, providing analytical support, preparing financial reviews, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Handle monthly and weekly accounting processes for assigned location.
  • Manage accounts payable, ensuring invoices are entered and data is up to date.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage accounts receivable, ensuring correct billing for profit centers and purchase order information.
  • Provide analytical support to the Lines of Businesses.
  • Prepare and lead monthly financial reviews with clients, providing custom reports and responding to inquiries.
  • Nurture client relationships.
  • Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies timely.
  • Complete operating reports, sales reports, special events sales billings, and cash register audits.
  • Supervise accounting office functions, including cash disbursements, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
  • Coordinate financial audits with internal and external auditors.
  • Manage cash flow issues and prepare cash flow statements.
  • Generate Period critique reports and attend Accounting and Finance meetings.
  • Support Operations Teams in preparing financial projections.
  • Review financial measures of effectiveness daily.
  • Develop methods for tracking financial performance.
  • Work on special projects such as P.O. CER Requests & Reconciliation.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 3+ years in a lead accounting position or controller role.
  • Advanced Excel and modeling skills including VBA.
  • Experience using IBM Planning Analytics/TM1, BI, and Tableau.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meet reporting deadlines to corporate headquarters.
  • Big 4 experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr.

Time Away From Work We appreciate and value the importance of taking time off. Aramark provides both Paid Time Off and Vacation for salaried exempt and salaried non-exempt employees working more than 30 hours per week. Paid Time Off (PTO) You accrue two-thirds of a day per month*, up to 8 days per calendar year, of PTO for personal needs, including occasional illness/injury, preventive medical care, family leave, or other personal leave. You may carry up to a maximum of 12 PTO days at any one time. Unused PTO days above the carryover limit will be forfeited at the close of each Calendar Year and will not be paid out at termination (except as mandated by state or local laws). PTO SCHEDULE* – CALENDAR YEAR MAXIMUM DAYS ACCRUED PER YEAR MAXIMUM ACCRUED DAYS AVAILABLE CARRYOVER LIMIT (MAXIMUM you can carry over at the end of the calendar year) 8 days 12 days 5 days Vacation Vacation time is accrued per the accrual schedule below. Should your vacation balance reach the Maximum Days Available, you will stop accruing time until you use some of your accrued time. Any accrued balance that you have at the end of the fiscal year, up to the Maximum Days Available, will carry over and still be available at the beginning of the next fiscal year. Upon termination of employment with Aramark, any accrued unused vacation time will not be paid out and will be forfeited unless applicable state or local law requires otherwise.
