Brown University Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join our well-established, collaborative women's health team in Providence, Rhode Island and our beautiful secondary location in Newport Women's Health. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice full-scope OB/GYN in a supportive environment with strong clinical resources, dedicated staff, and seamless access to subspecialty care.

Our dynamic and growing practice manages more than 1,700 deliveries annually and offers exceptional academic opportunities through Brown University , including resident and medical student teaching, mentorship, case reviews, and participation in cesarean deliveries alongside trainees.

About the Practice

Join a multidisciplinary team consisting of:

• 7 experienced OB/GYN physicians

• Full-time Certified Nurse Midwives

• 1 Gynecologic Oncologist

• 1 Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist + additional MFM support locally

• 2 OB/GYN Hospitalists

Together, we provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse population throughout Rhode Island and Southern New England.

This position offers an ideal balance of obstetrics and gynecology, with approximately 50% OB and 50% GYN , protected administrative time, and manageable call responsibilities that support a healthy work-life balance.

Position Highlights

• Four clinic days per week

• Half-day dedicated operating room time each week

• One full day of protected administrative time

• 1:8 call rotation with 12-hour shifts (excluding holidays)

Birthing Center & Clinical Resources

Physicians have access to a modern, patient-focused birthing center and robust clinical support, including:

• Eleven-room birthing center with spacious private labor and delivery suites

• Labor support amenities, including hydrotherapy tubs

• Dedicated lactation support services

• Level II ultrasound capabilities

• On-site radiology services and advanced cervical screening

• Comprehensive postpartum care and support programs

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary ranging from $260,000 to $300,000+

• Annual incentive opportunity of up to $50,000

• Additional compensation for call and extra shift coverage

• Four weeks of paid time off

• One week of CME time plus CME allowance

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program

• Eligible for medical licensure in Rhode Island
