We are seeking a motivated Entry‑Level Design Release Engineer (DRE) to support the development and release of window regulator and door glass systems for automotive vehicle programs. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early‑career engineers looking to build experience in automotive product development, vehicle closures, and component engineering. The selected candidate will work closely with senior engineers, suppliers, manufacturing teams, and vehicle integration groups to support component design, testing, validation, and launch activities. Key Responsibilities Support the design, development, and release of window regulator and door glass components. Assist with engineering documentation, design reviews, and release activities. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, including suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and vehicle integration teams. Support component testing, validation, and issue tracking activities. Participate in root cause investigations and problem‑solving efforts related to component performance and quality. Help monitor project timing, engineering deliverables, and program milestones. Support engineering change management and continuous improvement initiatives. Review and track component requirements, test results, and design updates. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 1–3 years of engineering experience (internships, co‑ops, or automotive project experience are highly preferred). Basic understanding of automotive vehicle systems and product development processes. Strong interest in automotive closures, door systems, or vehicle body structures. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Internship or co‑op experience within the automotive industry. Exposure to CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, Creo, or SolidWorks. Familiarity with automotive component testing and validation processes. Knowledge of window regulator systems, door glass systems, or vehicle closure components. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Good organizational and project coordination abilities. Analytical thinking and problem‑solving mindset. Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast‑paced engineering environment. Self‑motivated with strong attention to detail.
