Lead Epic Application Analyst (Prelude/Revenue Cycle)Location: 100% RemoteEmployment Type: Full-Time, PermanentAbout the OpportunityOur academic healthcare provider client is seeking a Lead Epic Application Analyst to join a highly collaborative team supporting critical patient access and revenue cycle initiatives.In this role, you will serve as an expert technical and operational leader responsible for Epic application strategy, implementation, optimization, and support. You'll partner closely with business stakeholders, operational leaders, and IT teams to enhance registration, authorizations, referral management, and revenue cycle workflows while leveraging automation and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and user experience.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Epic professional looking to make a significant impact while working in a fully remote environment.What You'll DoLead Epic implementation, optimization, and support initiatives across Patient Access and Revenue Cycle functionsServe as a subject matter expert for Epic Prelude, Cadence, Grand Central, and related workflowsPartner with operational and clinical stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automationDesign, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic application solutionsLead complex projects, workgroups, and cross-functional initiatives through all phases of executionCoordinate system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, testing, and vendor-supported changesMentor and provide guidance to analysts and project team membersAnalyze business needs and develop scalable technology solutions that support organizational objectivesSupport strategic efforts focused on automation, innovation, and future-state workflow designCollaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve application issues and optimize system performanceRequired Qualifications5+ years of Epic implementation experience, including participation in multiple full Epic implementationsEpic certification in:Prelude (strongly preferred)Cadence and/or Grand CentralDeep functional knowledge of:Patient RegistrationInsurance AuthorizationsPrior Authorization WorkflowsReferralsRevenue Cycle OperationsExperience leading projects, initiatives, or operational workgroupsStrong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsAdditional Epic certifications such as:RTE (Real-Time Eligibility)ResoluteReferralsExperience implementing Epic automation tools and workflow automation strategiesExperience supporting Epic optimization or refuel initiativesComfort leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, workflows, and operational outcomesPeer leadership, coaching, or mentoring experiencePrevious management or people leadership experience with a desire to return to an individual contributor roleWhat Makes You SuccessfulYou are a strategic thinker who understands both the technical and operational sides of healthcare technology.
