Job Opportunity – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio; every other weekend (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period); floating within facility and to sister campus as needed; no call required

Highlights:

• Work with a diverse and challenging adult to geriatric patient population including cardiac emergencies, complex arrhythmias, mechanical ventilation, post-operative monitoring, and critical care conditions
• 5-bed unit with average daily census of 4 patients providing optimal staffing ratios and quality patient care
• Utilize Epic EMR, Pyxis medication management, and SBAR communication protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, and more
• Up to 7 days of requested time off available; holiday requirements based on number of holidays falling within assignment period
• 12 hours of orientation with ongoing modular training support

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required; previous travel experience required
• Demonstrated competency in arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and cardiac drip titration
• Experience with infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and medical/surgical intensive care settings
• Full compliance documentation must be completed prior to start date
