Data Product Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Data Product Analyst to join a growing Data & Analytics organization focused on delivering data products and analytical capabilities that drive business outcomes, with a strong emphasis on data mapping, data design, This role sits at the intersection of business stakeholders, product teams, and data engineering, translating business needs into scalable data solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to gather requirements, design data structures, and partner closely with engineers to ensure the successful delivery of data products. While candidates may come from either a data platform background or an analytics-focused background, the ability to perform data mapping and data design is essential.

We are open to candidates from either of the following backgrounds:

1) Data Platform Focused
Data mapping and data design
ETL and data engineering concepts
Data pipelines and integration workflows
Data modeling and cloud platforms

2) Analytics Focused
Reporting and dashboard development
KPI and operational reporting
Business insights and analytics
Power BI, Tableau, and data visualization

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Product Analyst, or similar role.
Strong SQL skills with experience performing data analysis and validation.
Experience with data mapping, data modeling, or data design.
Understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data engineering concepts.
Experience working with modern cloud data platforms (AWS preferred).
Proven ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with AWS services or cloud-based analytics ecosystems.
Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
Knowledge of data lakes, data warehouses, and modern analytics architectures.
Experience working in Agile or SAFe Agile environments.
Familiarity with commercial analytics, sales reporting, healthcare, MedTech, or Life Sciences data.
Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, reporting, or data products.
