Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0600–1900) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures and treatments while accurately documenting care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Conduct holistic ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team; delegate appropriately to non-licensed assistive personnel and may float between campuses or serve as a sitter as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN licensure or Compact RN licensure
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must practice consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and applicable unit-specific standards
• Ability to float between campuses and serve in a sitter role as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical inpatient setting
• Familiarity with evidence-based nursing workflows and performance improvement processes
