Job Description Internal Medicine needed in Roswell, New Mexico - Located 200 miles from Albuquerque, NM; 180 miles from Las Cruces, NM Position Details: Full-time, permanent position Requirements: - Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) - Three-year residency in internal medicine - New Mexico License to practice medicine Diagnose and treat patients 18 years and older with wide range of diseases and injuries related to internal organ systems, and organic or congenital disorders. On out-patient basis, determine nature and extent of disease or disorder using diagnostic imaging and tests. Prescribe medication, consult with other health care professionals, and refer patients to specialists as needed. Advise patients on disease prevention and health promotion. Manage patient complaint resolution. Participate in educational programs and literature review for professional development.
