Pharmacy Technician

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician II Location: Onsite - 5215 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503 Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension) Schedule: Morning Shift – PST Pay Range: $22 to $26 per hour Key Responsibilities: The technician will be responsible for the packaging, preparation, and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications, including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs. All duties must be performed in accordance with USP and standards, institutional protocols, and safety guidelines. Fills prescriptions under the supervision of Pharmacist in hospital pharmacy or retail establishment and performs a variety of other duties. Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and types of labels for bottles. Receives and stores incoming supplies Required Qualifications: High School Diploma Must have Active Pharmacy Technician license 3-5 years of related experience
