Project managerProject ManagerWorking Location: NationwideOffice Location: Salford / Hybrid WorkingSalary: 40,000 - 50,000Package: 5,000 Car Allowance, Mileage, Flexible Working HoursAn established construction and interior fit out business specialising in CAT A and CAT B fit out projects is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join their growing team.The business delivers projects for a range of commercial clients, with the majority of their work across the Northwest and some projects covered from their London office. Projects range from 50k to 500k, with larger projects up to 10m.This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects and being trusted to manage them through to completion. The role offers a varied workload across office fit outs, refurbishments and other commercial spaces, including laboratories and industrial units, with a mixture of site-based, office and home working.The business has a practical and collaborative approach, giving experienced Project Managers the responsibility and flexibility to manage their own projects while working within established systems and processes.The RoleAs Project Manager, you will take responsibility for managing multiple projects from start through to completion. Responsibilities will include:Managing multiple live fit out and refurbishment projectsOverseeing projects from mobilisation through to completionManaging programmes and ensuring projects remain on scheduleManaging Site Managers and overseeing site activityCoordinating subcontractors and overseeing site activityMonitoring project costs and maintaining expected marginsManaging procurement and appointing subcontractorsEnsuring materials and resources are available when requiredMaintaining strong relationships with clients and keeping them informed of project progressEnsuring projects are delivered safely and to the required quality standardsCarrying out regular site visits and working closely with site teams and subcontractorsManaging project documentation, reporting and commercial informationRequirementsProven experience working as a Project Manager within construction or interior fit outStrong experience delivering fit out and refurbishment projectsExperience working on commercial projects, particularly offices, laboratories and industrial unitsExperience managing projects ranging from 50k to 500k, with larger projects up to 10mCSCS Black or White and SMSTSNVQ Level 6 or BSc in Construction Management, or a similar relevant qualificationStrong understanding of construction health and safety requirementsExperience managing Site Managers, subcontractors, programmes, and site activityStrong communication and client management skillsWillingness to travel to projects as required Location: Manchester | Salary: 40000 - 50000 per year | Job type: Permanent | Posted: 17/08/2026
