Epic Interface Analyst II- Digital and Technology Partners - Remote

DescriptionThis position is an intermediate level analyst position responsible for acquiring in depth knowledge of EPIC Clinical System/Interfaces, working independently in completing project tasks and leading the execution of the following tasks as part of a clinical systems implementation: HL7 Interface development, data conversion, building system components, testing, documentation of interface specifications, data flows and other project information, implementation support and maintenance of Epic Clinical software. In addition this position requires the ability to independently interact with clients and guide decision making as well as demonstrate critical thinking and follow through when developing solutions to identified issues. Responsibilities1. Analyze, design, and support API-based integrations across internal and external systems2. Collaborate with application teams, vendors, and stakeholders to define interface and API requirements3. Support implementation and optimization of FHIR-based APIs and modern interoperability standards4. Troubleshoot API and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution5. Participate in system design discussions related to SMART on FHIR applications and launch workflows6. Ensure adherence to security, performance, and organizational integration standards7. Document technical designs, workflows, and support procedures8. Contribute to continuous process improvements and automation initiatives9. Successfully achieve certification in Epic Bridges as determined by the Epic course catalog.10. Demonstrates professional behavior when interacting with clients and coworkers11. Demonstrates the ability to collect workflow and other pertinent information from clients 12. Apply in depth system understanding to current issues and development challenges in order to develop alternative solutions with pro and con analysis 13. Demonstrate ability to understand not only tasks assigned but to anticipate ongoing work and take ownership of entire process.14. Prioritize and delegate tasks as needed 15. Proven working knowledge of the HL7 standard16. Develop interface specifications and data flow diagrams17. Participate in the integration and data conversion process for each implementation18. The salary range for the role is $90000 - $135285 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
