Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Current BLS certification by the American Heart Association standards required.
• 2 years experience required in OR, Trauma.
• Candidate must complete CMP blood panel prior to start.

Assignment Details:

• Shift hours include Mon: 0645-1915, Tue: 0645-1515, Wed: 0645-1515, Fri: 0645-1915.
• Call requirements include 2 call shifts a month.
• Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period.
• Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
