St. Helena Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Histology Technician to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment in beautiful Napa Valley. What You’ll Do: Prepare tissue sections and slides for microscopic examination using embedding, cutting, staining, and labeling techniques Perform histology and cytology procedures with accuracy and attention to quality standards Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment while maintaining proper documentation and quality control Prepare and process gynecological, non-gynecological, and bone marrow specimens for Pathologist review Maintain laboratory supplies, solutions, equipment maintenance logs, and preventive maintenance schedules Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality assurance, and departmental procedures What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Cytotechnology or related field preferred Master’s Degree preferred Histology or cytology experience preferred Strong attention to detail, laboratory knowledge, and technical proficiency Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment Why Join St. Helena Hospital?
