Salary and Pay The starting pay range for this position per hour is $24.75 - $26.75. The full pay range for this position per hour is $24.75 - $42.05. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. About Property Management Property Management supports a profitable business by ensuring that assets are well-maintained and functional, and services are completed on time while minimizing vendor cost. Property Management (PM) maintains physical assets and mitigates excess spending to ensure that our store teams can focus on serving our guests without distraction. PM also supports remodel efforts, executes new project sets and enables efficient front of store and backroom operations to delight our guests. Key Responsibilities Identifying and safely executing preventive and corrective maintenance on all building assets and equipment Completing work within compliance standards and Target guidelines Working with vendors and influencing timely completion of their work Influencing store team to ensure project work aligns with PM priorities and financial goals Working with Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Life Safety Power Systems and Electrical equipment Understanding repair versus replace and managing cost Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience Ensures every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations Actively observes and provides feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments Reviews area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, takes action to improve, and aligns team on the right behaviors and execution, celebrates wins, drives results that deliver outcomes and elevates the guest experience Utilizes technology (e.g. Mobile Device, AI) to create, troubleshoot, prioritize, and safely complete work orders Performs preventive maintenance on building assets and equipment, including Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Life Safety Power Systems and Electrical Follows appropriate safety procedures and training, uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensures a safe work environment by identifying and correcting equipment safety hazards Teaches and trains store team to follow safety procedures Identifies and performs corrective maintenance on building assets Informs and engages the store leadership team on property management workload priorities, and shares impacts of store processes on asset care Leads and demonstrates a culture of executing best practices as outlined within team onboarding and learning; helps close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions With Property Management Business Partner guidance, evaluates store brand and ensures assets and vendor performance meets maintenance and functionality standards Assists in executing special projects, remodels and supports PM assets and service strategies in partnership with store team Ensures internal and external work orders are completed safely and efficiently; vendors are accountable to do the same for work orders assigned/routed to them Assists in managing emergency situations as needed in partnership with store and field leaders Demonstrates inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences All other duties based on business needs Physical and Work Schedule Requirements Climb up and down ladders Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds without the assistance of others Flexible work schedule that aligns to all operating hours (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); regular and prompt attendance necessary Although the role is full-time, it does not come with a guarantee of 40 hours each week. Hours will depend on the needs of the business and may fluctuate as required Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive‑Up, carry‑out, etc. Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary) What We Are Looking For You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with. High School diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years of age or older 1+ years of technical education preferred in some of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, carpentry, HVAC or plumbing and/or experience working in any of the following areas: basic door repair, HVAC filter changing, carpentry, power equipment/mechanical repair and basic equipment troubleshooting Basic technical skills and general experience working with property assets required Proficiency in operating power tools, HVAC, wet/dry vacuum and other powered equipment Strong skills in managing vendor relationships, ensuring accountability, and achieving quality service results Effective communication skills and the ability to use technology and multiple communication devices Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently and provide support to store team Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes Eligibility and Accommodations Target will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the San Francisco and City of Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinances.
