SAFETY SENSTIVE POSITION Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. - 4:00p.m., overtime as needed including weekends. Description/Job Summary SAFETY SENSTIVE POSITION Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. - 4:00p.m., overtime as needed including weekends. Job Summary: Operate forklift to lift and take down packaged product on slip sheets and/or pallets. Inspect carriers (trucks, boxcars) to ensure the carrier is safe, clean and does not compromise product quality and/or safety. responsible for operating scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control. Maintaining quality product before, during and after loading. Manually stacking and wrapping packaged product. Responsible for completing and maintaining inspection of forklift (checking hoses, working condition, etc. daily), electronic scanning of product, and sanitation records. Basic Qualifications Must possess basic math. (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English. Must be willing to climb up to 4 feet. Must be willing to lift up to 110 pounds. Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day. Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for periods of time. Must have prior forklift experience. Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
