See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:****Grade: 3**Position Overview:A Woodworker performs a wide variety of fabrication tasks centered around building cabinetry.**At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.**Essential Functions:* Performs basic wood working or rough carpentry work on small or large boats.* Frequently involves use of staples and staple guns in assembly of rough wood structures to be covered with other materials (fiberglass, upholstery).* Includes mill assembly and lamination woodworking positions.* Must be willing to learn all aspects of woodshop including running CNC routers, cabinet building, and assembly builds.**Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.**Required Qualifications:* High School Diploma or GED equivalent* Experience in basic or rough carpentry* Ability to read and understand production schedule and blueprints* Ability to work in a hot and dusty environment, using protective clothing and respirator if needed* Requires ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, powered and manual* Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal* Working knowledge of procedures , instructions, and documents as it relates to the quality systemWorking Conditions:* Must always possess the desire and ambition to work safely and report all hazards to their supervisor immediately.* Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies.* Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.* Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, standing, etc., with or without reasonable accommodation.The pay range for this position is ***$20.50 - $23.18, hourly***. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus or short-term incentive program.
