Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the team at our Lake Region Walk-In Health Center. This position is responsible for coding and entering charges for CHC physician practices and physicians under billing agreements. Job Duties: Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by providers, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in accordance with safety standards and clinic protocols. Follow all radiation safety guidelines, including proper shielding and exposure techniques. Verify patient identity, review imaging orders, and ensure appropriate documentation in the electronic medical record. Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide clear instructions during exams. Maintain imaging quality control and ensure proper transmission of images to the radiology system for radiologist interpretation. Assist with clinical patient care activities including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting patient information. Prepare examination rooms and ensure appropriate supplies and equipment are available for patient visits. Assist providers with procedures, treatments, and patient flow within the clinic. Clean and disinfect equipment and patient care areas according to infection control standards. Communicate effectively with providers and clinic staff to support efficient clinic operations. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Provide clerical or operational support as needed to maintain patient flow in a fast-paced walk-in setting. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current state radiologic technologist. Current CPR Certification. Ability to perform basic clinical support tasks, such as obtaining vital signs and assisting with patient care. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced walk-in environment. Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
