Western States Lodging & Management is looking for an experienced Guest Room Attendant who can deliver exceptional cleanliness while serving as a trusted resource and mentor for the housekeeping team.In this role, you'll work with a high level of independence, help uphold housekeeping standards, support newer associates, conduct room inspections, and assist with maintaining the supplies and processes needed for a successful housekeeping operation.What's in it for you- Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Pay - $14.50 – 15 hourly.The starting rate is based on experience and qualifications. This position participates in our compensation program, which provides opportunities for future pay growth based on performance and career development.401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%Hotel discounts at select Western States Lodging & Management propertiesEligible full-time associates are entitled to the following:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans plus Health Savings Account (HSA) optionsOptional supplemental benefits, including accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and other coverage options.Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefitsWhat You'll DoClean and service guest rooms efficiently while consistently meeting hotel and brand cleanliness standardsPrioritize daily cleaning responsibilities based on guest check-in and check-out times and operational needsProvide hands-on training, guidance, and support to help associates understand cleaning procedures and quality expectationsAssist housekeeping leadership with developing and implementing cleaning protocols, procedures, and quality standardsConduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, sanitation, and brand standards are consistently metRespond professionally to special guest requests and housekeeping needsAssist with monitoring housekeeping inventory, including cleaning products, linens, toiletries, and guest amenitiesSupport the ordering and organization of cleaning supplies and amenities to maintain appropriate inventory levelsFollow and reinforce established safety, sanitation, security, and chemical-handling proceduresDemonstrate Western States Lodging & Management hospitality and service standards in every guest and associate interactionWhat Makes You SuccessfulHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred3+ years of housekeeping, guest room attendant, or related hospitality experienceExtensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and sanitation proceduresStrong understanding of guest room cleanliness and quality standardsStrong customer service and guest-relations abilitiesAbility to professionally handle escalated concerns and high-pressure situationsExceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standardsAbility to work independently while contributing positively to the housekeeping teamAvailability to work some weekends and holidays as business needs requireAuthorization to work in the United States and proof of identity as required by federal lawPhysical RequirementsThis position requires frequent walking and standing throughout the shift, along with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive cleaning movements.
