Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult patients in a mixed oncology and trauma PCU setting
• Participate in regular patient assessments and administer medications, including titration of insulin and cardizem drips
• Operate specialized equipment such as ventilators and other hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Float to similar units including med/surg and PCU as required, ensuring continuity and quality of care
• Engage in continuous education exercises and pass competencies with 90% or higher

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• A minimum of 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; ONS/ONCC preferred
• Adaptability to work within a diverse cultural and clinical environment
• Experience with the EPIC EMR system preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and float between similar units
