Collaborating Psychiatrist

Clinical Support Services, LLC
Job Duties
- Execute and maintain a Prescriptive Authority Agreement with the company's PMHNPs
- Ensure compliance with Texas Medical Board (TMB), Texas Board of Nursing (BON), and DEA requirements
- Conduct and document periodic chart reviews.
- Identify quality concerns and recommend corrective action when appropriate
- Conduct periodic meetings with the PMHNP as required under the collaboration agreement.
- Review high-risk prescribing patterns
- Monitor adherence to state and federal controlled substance requirements.
Education
- Fellowship program completed
- Medical school completed
- Residency completed
Qualification
- Texas DEA
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program
- Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License
- Ability to legally delegate prescriptive authority under Texas law
- Multi-state licensure
