Certified Medical Assistant

Maple Health DPC is a patient-centered Direct Primary Care practice focused on delivering personalized, accessible, and high-quality healthcare. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly organized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/ receptionist Dual role to join our growing team. Position Summary The Certified Medical Assistant will play a key role in both clinical and administrative operations. This position requires an individual who is comfortable performing clinical duties such as blood draws and patient care while also supporting front-office functions including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. Required Qualifications Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification (required) Experience preferred but not required Proficient in venipuncture and specimen collection Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a steady-paced healthcare environment High school diploma or equivalent Clinical Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and blood draws accurately and safely Obtain and document vital signs and EKGs when needed Prepare and room patients for provider visits Assist providers with examinations and procedures Administer injections and medications as permitted by state regulations Process laboratory specimens Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines Administrative Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Check patients in and out Verify patient information and update records Manage patient messages and communicate with providers as needed Handle basic office correspondence and administrative tasks Assist with patient faxes Ideal Candidate Friendly, professional, and patient-focused Reliable and punctual Strong attention to detail Team-oriented with a positive attitude Comfortable balancing both clinical and administrative responsibilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
