What You'll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Essential Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times by following company safety procedures, Lockout/Tagout practices, and using required PPE.
• Perform product and grade changeovers on production equipment including:
  • Presses
  • Converting Folders
  • Formers
  • Packaging equipment
  • Conveyor systems
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain:
  • Mechanical systems
  • Electrical systems
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Pneumatic systems
  • Power transmission equipment
• Complete preventive maintenance according to scheduled PM programs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records including work orders, labor tracking, preventive maintenance, and spare parts inventory.
• Follow GMP and SQF food safety standards and report any food safety concerns immediately.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Train and support fellow team members as needed.

• Various powered and non-powered hand tools

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
• Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related trade is a plus
• Ramsey Maintenance Test score of 40-49 at a minimum depending on Tech level
• Fabrication skills including welding and machining
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and precision measuring tools
• Ability to perform equipment assembly, disassembly, fabrication, installation, alignment, welding, machining, pipefitting, and equipment modifications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize work and perform independently with minimal supervision
• Good judgment and strong decision-making abilities
• Flexibility to work alternate shifts, vacation coverage, or other business needs as required
