Security Architect

This position will report to the CISO and will engage across various members of the security team including (Deputy CISO), (Security Technology Manager), (Enterprise Architect) & their VP of Ecommerce.

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, risk management, and security technologies. The Security Architect will work closely with the CISO to ensure the security of our systems and data.

Design and implement security solutions to protect systems and data. Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards. Monitor security systems and respond to incidents. Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security into operations. Stay current with security trends, technologies, and threats. Provide training and guidance on security best practices. Prepare and present security reports to the CISO and stakeholders. Work with new technologies to ensure tools interact with current tools, including configuration (API), credentials, data management, and requirement alignment. Ensure applications are built per security inspection standards and collaborate closely with project managers. Evaluate and upgrade outdated technologies to meet current security standards.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security. Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions. Experience with risk management and security assessments. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Solid security background with some architecture experience. Experience working with in-house developed applications and codebases.

Ecommerce experience is a strong plus, retail also helpful. Background in a large multi-national organization is a strong plus. Utilization of AppDev tools like Vericode, Sneek, Ox, etc. is a plus. Hands-on experience with AD, Linux systems, Snowflake, Azure, and VMWare. Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, cloud certifications).
