Speech Language Pathologist 26/27 School Year

Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech‑Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full‑time, in‑person school‑based position in Homewood, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is within a Special Education Cooperative, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse student population and make a meaningful impact. Overview Provide speech-language therapy services to students ages 3–21 (based on assignment/program) Work a consistent 35-hour per week schedule Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families Deliver services in a structured, supportive school setting Responsibilities Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide therapy for articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication disorders Maintain documentation, progress reports, and compliance records Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and attend IEP meetings Support students across a range of developmental and educational needs Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology Active Illinois Speech‑Language Pathologist license Current Professional Educator License (PEL) required School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills We aim to remain cost‑effective while ensuring a fair and competitive package — rate is negotiable and will be discussed during the interview process.
