ReceptionistWe are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Receptionist to serve as the welcoming "hub" of our 89 Main Street office. This role is essential to ensure our office is an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors, clients, and staff. The Receptionist greets visitors, responds to inquiries from the public, provides information about the organization, and manages incoming calls and front-desk operations.Key responsibilities include:Greet visitors and clients warmly; provide basic information and direct them to the appropriate office or staff memberAnswer, screen, and route incoming phone calls; take and relay accurate messagesGather client/patient personal and insurance informationCollect, record, and process client paymentsManage appointment schedules, including shared office or conference spaceNote appointment cancellations or changesNotify staff of visitor arrivalsPerform general clerical and administrative duties, including:Opening, sorting, and distributing mail and parcelsWeighing, preparing, and mailing outgoing correspondencePhotocopying, collating, filing, and basic word processingAssist with opening the office daily and securing the facility at the end of the business dayWhat we are looking for:Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively as part of a teamCourteous, professional, and welcoming demeanorHigh school diploma plus several years of relevant experienceExperience answering and managing multi-line telephone systems requiredBasic proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet softwareDetails of the position:$20/hour, 37.5 hours, Monday through FridayComprehensive benefit package that includes health/dental/vision, retirement matching after one-year, ample paid time off, employee assistance program, life/disability insurance, wellness incentives, discounted membership in local gyms, and tuition and student loan repayment assistance.EOE
