About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:30 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid California RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Experience with pediatric patients preferred Description: The role involves providing direct patient care in the Preoperative and PACU settings. Surgical services include orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, podiatry, pain management, ophthalmology, and endoscopy. Call is required as part of the shift schedule. Candidates must be able to effectively manage multiple patient responsibilities. A strong background in patient assessment and critical thinking is essential. Strong communication and teamwork skills are important for successful collaboration with the healthcare team.
