Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Education Director to lead our educational initiatives and foster a vibrant learning environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee curriculum development, strategic planning, and educational programming to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning experiences. Your leadership will inspire teams, engage with stakeholders, and drive innovative educational solutions that empower students and staff alike. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curricula aligned with organizational goals and educational standards
- Lead strategic planning efforts to expand program offerings, improve instructional quality, and enhance student engagement
- Oversee budgeting processes to allocate resources effectively across departments and initiatives
- Manage and supervise educators, administrative staff, and program coordinators to ensure high performance and professional growth
- Cultivate relationships with community partners, donors, and stakeholders to support fundraising efforts and program sustainability
- Conduct public speaking engagements, workshops, and presentations to promote educational programs and organizational mission
- Monitor program outcomes through data analysis, feedback collection, and continuous improvement strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience in education administration with a strong background in curriculum development and classroom teaching
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, management, and leadership within educational settings
- Extensive experience in fundraising activities, grant writing, or donor engagement preferred
- Strong management skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster collaborative environments
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently
- Knowledge of budgeting processes, financial oversight, and resource allocation in education programs
- Working experience with students of diverse backgrounds, along with a passion for education excellence and innovation
- Master's Degree preferred
- NYS Teaching certification is required
- Must have 2 years of teaching experience AND 1-2 years of supervisory experience in an early childhood setting
EDUCATIONAL DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in early childhood education or a related field of study approved by the department
- Must hold a NY State Teaching Certification License in Early Childhood
- Must be Fingerprinted by IdentoGo
- Must have 2 years of teaching experience AND 1-2 years of supervisory experience in an early childhood setting
- Proof of SCR clearance
- Must be willing to undergo BLA Clearance
*Salary
Pay range $50,000-$65,000 Annually
