Registered Nurse

Role Overview: A registered nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex patient care while managing contingencies and long-term goals. Key Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process-assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs at their level of practice. Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided. Assess educational needs and provide information to patients, families, and caregivers. Delegate tasks appropriately to care team members to optimize patient management. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of one year of related nursing experience preferred. Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional certifications such as ACLS and PALS are required within specified timeframes. Experience in perioperative or surgical settings is advantageous. Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
