Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRNShadelands Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRN to join our rehabilitation team.If you are passionate about helping patients regain independence, improve their functional abilities, and achieve their therapy goals, we would love to have you join our supportive and collaborative team.Position DetailsPosition: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRNSchedule: PRNPay Range: $48–$55 per hour, depending on experienceWhat We OfferCompetitive paySupportive and collaborative rehabilitation teamOpportunities for professional growth and developmentEmployee rewards and bonus opportunitiesOngoing training and educationPositive and team-oriented work environmentKey ResponsibilitiesProvide occupational therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and established goals.Assist patients in improving their independence with activities of daily living and functional mobility.Provide therapeutic activities and interventions designed to improve strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional skills.Monitor and communicate patient progress, response to treatment, and changes in condition to the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team.Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation in accordance with facility policies, professional standards, and payer requirements.Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, home programs, and strategies to promote independence and safety.Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and other interdisciplinary activities as needed.Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations, professional standards, and facility policies.Build positive and respectful relationships with patients, families, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals.QualificationsCurrent and active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification and state licenseGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary teamExcellent organizational and documentation skillsCompassionate, patient-centered approachCommitment to providing high-quality rehabilitation servicesMake a Difference With UsAt Shadelands Post Acute, we are committed to helping our patients achieve greater independence and quality of life.
