CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description The CNC Lathe Machinist plays a vital role in precision manufacturing by operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines. As a key team member reporting directly to the Production Manager, this position focuses on producing high-quality machined parts through expert operation, setup, and maintenance of CNC lathe equipment. The role offers opportunities for skill development, cross-training, and advancement to lead machinist positions within a safety-focused environment utilizing standard CNC software such as Fanuc and Haas. Responsibilities Operate CNC lathes to produce precision components according to specifications Set up machines, including loading programs and calibrating tools Load and adjust CNC programs using standard software (e.g., Fanuc, Haas) Inspect finished parts for quality and adherence to blueprints Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Document processes, machine settings, and production data Handle materials efficiently to support machining operations Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in CNC machining with lathe operation High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in blueprint reading and precision measurement Experience with G-code programming and tool calibration Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good manual dexterity and safety compliance Company Description Recruiting firm #J-18808-Ljbffr
