Creationary Chemistry: Early Career in Business, PR/Marketing, Engineering & AI/Software

If you can make these matter, we want you on our team.

This is Creationary Chemistry. We need storytellers, analysts, futurists, and creator-builders to innovate alongside our scientists to make our chemistry matter.

Ohr is building the chemical prime for critical government industries. Chemistry is the invisible foundation of every critical system, and the molecules that matter most are made by too few suppliers, in too few places, with too much dependence on adversaries. Ohr creates new routes to those molecules from abundant domestic feedstocks and manufactures them for the United States and its allies.

The company builds four chemistries for a single system: ignition chemicals, already in production as a qualified domestic source; propellants and binders, including a cycloalkane rocket-grade kerosene denser than conventional RP-1; rare-earth extractants that separate neodymium and praseodymium at many times conventional selectivity; and insensitive explosives made without toxic intermediates.

Ohr grows on two engines. The first is its chemistry platform, with a pipeline toward a hundred critical molecules. The second is acquiring the bottleneck that takes years to build: licensed sites, qualified lines and embedded defense customers. Every acquired plant becomes a home for Ohr molecules, and every new molecule adds product to plants Ohr already owns.

Ohr is venture-backed with $75M raised, operates in the United States and Israel, and partners with U.S. and allied defense agencies, primes and industrial leaders.

One challenge, four ways in. Pick your track, take on the prompt, and show us how you think.

The Challenge

• Business. Pick one of our chemistries. Who needs it most, why now, and how big is the opportunity?

• PR / Communications. Make someone who’s never heard of Ohr care about one of these chemistries.

• Engineering. Pick one of our chemistries. What would it take to make it at scale, safely, in a plant built for something else?

• AI/Software. Build or design a tool that makes one of our chemistries faster to discover, make, or bring to market.

• Create your own. You have license to build - show us what should matter.

Who You Are

Students and recent grads in business, economics, policy, communications, design, engineering, computer science, or anything adjacent. No chemistry degree required. You’re curious about hard problems and energized by solving differently.

What We Offer

Paid internships, fellowships, and early career full-time roles based onsite and remote for select roles.

The Process

Pick a track and take on the prompt. Submit your response and complete the application form. Selected applicants will meet the team leading their track, with final rounds in early 2027 virtually and onsite.
