Everett, United States | Posted on 06/11/2026 Reason forCoverage: Long-termpermanent search PracticeSetting: Night and weekend coverage Will work along-side APPs Admissions coordinated through Hospitalist and Specialties Groups Procedures include intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, and I&Ds No vent management Schedule: Night and weekend shifts 7:00a-7:00p or 7:00p-7:00a PatientPopulation: All ages EMR: Cerner Credentialing: 90 days Requirements: Boardcertification AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications Minimum 1-year Emergency Medicine experience or equivalent JobResponsibilities (Generalized) Providecomprehensive medical care to patients across avariety of clinical settings, including evaluation,diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronicconditions Conduct thoroughpatient histories, physical examinations, and clinicalassessments Order,interpret, and review diagnostic testing includinglaboratory work, imaging, and other studies asappropriate Develop andimplement individualized treatment and care plansbased on patient needs and evidence-based practices Prescribemedications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions withinscope of practice Manage ongoingpatient care, including follow-up evaluations and coordinationof treatment plans Collaborate withphysicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, andinterdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality ofcare Document patientencounters, treatment plans, and clinical findings accuratelyand in compliance with facility standards Respond topatient concerns and provide education regardingdiagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care Maintaincompliance with facility policies, credentialingrequirements, and applicable regulatory standards Adapt quickly tonew clinical environments, workflows, and electronicmedical record systems Stay current onmedical advancements, clinical guidelines, and best practicesthrough continuing medical education and professionaldevelopment Skills: In-depthknowledge of specialty principles and practices,including diagnosis, treatment and prevention ofdiseases Strong clinicaljudgment and decision-making skills in a fast-pacedenvironment Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to buildrapport with patients and collaborate effectively withhealthcare teams Technicalproficiency in performing procedures (if applicable) Meticulousattention to detail and the ability to adaptto changing patent conditions Time managementand organizational skills to manage a patientworkload effectively Requirements Education: Doctorof Medicine (MD) degree of Doctor ofOsteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from anaccredited medical school Residencytraining program in internal medicine accredited bythe Accreditation Council for Graduate MedicalEducation (ACGME) or American OsteopathicAssociation (AOA) Fellowshiptraining in Emergency Medicine (may be preferred depending on theposition) Licenses& Certifications: Boardcertification in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of InternalMedicine (ABIM) or the AOA Activeand unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania Experience: Whilespecific requirements may vary, most locum physicianpositions prefer candidates with at least one yearof experience in a clinical setting relevant totheir specialty Travel: Only local and drive-in candidates are being considered at this time.
