Clinical Psychiatrist - Psychiatric Emergency Services & Consultation-Liaison

NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk is seeking a Clinical Psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatric care within Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) and Consultation-Liaison services. The psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support the delivery of safe, evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and ensure timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and community or institutional partners as appropriate. Participate in multidisciplinary, departmental, and hospital meetings and initiatives. Contribute to quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and program development. Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and other trainees. Maintain CME and hospital medical staff requirements. Participate in Medicare and applicable insurance plans as required. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency. New York State medical license. Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry. Compensation: $275,000-$300,000 The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
