Required Experience and Qualifications:

- 2 years of nursing experience required
- ICU experience required with patient ratio experience of 1:2
- Experience with EPIC charting system required
- Must be willing to float to IMCU & Med Surg as needed
- Skills required: Management of vents, pediatric patient care comfortability, bi-level positive airway pressure (BiPAP/CPAP) management, continuous IV sedation, isolated precautions/PPE, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias, central line care/management, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), management of dysrhythmias, and care of ventilated patients

Certifications and Licensure:

- North Carolina or Multistate License required at submittal
- Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) via American Heart Association (AHA)
- All certifications and licenses must be current and not expire while on contract

Other Requirements:

- Must wear all white or all navy scrubs
- Must reside more than 40 miles from the facility
- COVID-19 Vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Experience in community hospitals, long-term acute care, or trauma levels I and II not specified
- Travel experience preferred
