Adolescent Behavioral Health Technician

The Brook Hospitals have been providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services since 1985. The Brook – KMI is a 110-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults. Job duties include serving as an active member of the clinical staff, maintaining a therapeutic relationship with all patients, assisting in maintenance of a safe, clean, therapeutic environment, assuring patient participation in program activities, and performing technical/patient care duties relative to patient's health and safety. Shift: 7:00pm to 7:00am with rotational weekends.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), Handle with Care - Safe Physical Management certification (or willingness to obtain), and 0 - 1 years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, human services, or related field, and 1 - 3 years of related experience.
