PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Volume/Census: 12-16 patients per day

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Cerner
Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesia, Physician backup

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline: 30-45 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Universal License (IMLC)
Board: Board Certification required in Critical Care
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Critical Care

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage admissions and consults for ICU patients
Work 7 consecutive night shifts (7p-7a) followed by 7 days off
Perform central line and arterial line insertions as needed (preferred)
Collaborate with on-call physician for complex cases
Manage daily census of 12-16 ICU patients
