Position: Home Health Occupational Therapist
Location: Vacaville, CA / Vallejo, CA
Shift Details
- Shift Type: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly, with a productivity expectation of seeing 5-6 patients per day.
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Weekend Work: Opportunity to pick up patients on weekends to meet productivity goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality home health care services to patients.
- Maintain timely communication and documentation of patient visits.
- Utilize documentation tools provided and ensure their return.
- Manage a caseload of home health patients, with a focus on minimizing travel time.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of home health experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid Occupational Therapist license in California.
- BLS certification required.
- Personal transportation is necessary for patient visits.
Additional Information
- Patient Ratio: 1:1, with a potential to visit up to 6 patients per day.
- Travel Radius: Occasionally up to 50+ miles.
- Parking: Free parking available.
- Attire: Any color scrubs.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience with activities of daily living, cardiac rehabilitation, and pain management techniques.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic equipment and patient care methods.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and patient load.
