Position: Cafeteria Cook Location: Ira Township, MI Job Id: 5287 # of Openings: 1 Job Summary We are seeking reliable and friendly Cafeteria Staff to join our team in Ira, MI. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of the cafeteria, cooking, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all students. Key Responsibilities Prepare cafeteria before lunch period. Prepare food items being served that day. Clean tables in between lunch periods. Clean kitchen and dishes after all lunch periods have ended. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or cafeteria work preferred but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Have or get certified in Serve Safe licensing. Work Environment This position is based in a school cafeteria. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with students and staff.
