Job Title Endoscopy Technician PRN Employer Doctors Hospital of Augusta Job Summary We are seeking an Endoscopy Technician PRN to help provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Responsibilities Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized and stocked Helping position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment, and keeping accurate records for quality and safety Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout their care Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date Previous experience in an endoscopy or GI clinical setting is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and empathy toward patients and families Benefits Comprehensive medical coverage with low copays for many services, prescription drug, behavioral health, and telemedicine services Dental and vision benefits, life & disability coverage, and flexible spending accounts 401(k) plan with 100% match on 3–9% of pay and Employee Stock Purchase Plan Paid time off, paid family leave, disability coverages, and other leave benefits Educational assistance and employee wellness programs Equal Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer.
