About the Position

*** Endoscopy Tech 40hrs. Days *** Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:15a-3:45p w/ a Rotating Day of 8a-4:30p. Unit GI/ENDO Tech.Brief Unit Description: 8 rooms. 3 MAC, 5 Conscious Sedation procedures, holding and recovery rooms. Open weekdays, with on-call for Eves, Nights, Weekends and Holidays.Years of Experience Required: minimum of 1-2 years.Skill Sets Required: GI Technician Endoscopy, Olympus scope set-up; handling and reprocessing.Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:1 in rooms; 1:2/3 in PACU.Patient Population: All.Bed Count: 18 PACU bays, 8 procedural rooms.Census: 60-70 procedures per day.EMR (Charting System): EPIC.Floating Required: No.Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, depending on hours, department is open 6:30am-5:30 pm.Certifications Required: SGNA or CBSPD are preferred.
