Shine Bright.Located across the street from The Mall at Short Hills, the Hilton Short Hills features locally sourced food, an outdoor terrace and lounge, tennis courts and an indoor/outdoor pool to offer a memorable and enjoyable experience to our guests.We are looking for our next best team member to join our Culinary team.Discounts with our Crescent managed properties in North America for you & your family membersHotel Room Discounts at Hilton properties worldwideFree meals in our associates' dining roomThis is a unionized positionHere is what you will be doing each day:Inspects, selects and uses food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu itemsEnsure food to order items for customers/guests are in a timely and consistent manner.Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist. Date all food containers and rotate.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.Does this sound like you?You have at least two years of experience as a Cook preferably at a hotel. You have your Food Handler certification.
