Senior Research Scientist

Providing scientific and strategic leadership for research infrastructure, the part-time Senior Research Scientist will architect and fundraise for Open Game Data initiatives, identify research opportunities, design studies, analyze data, develop grant proposals, and guide interdisciplinary collaborations in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Provides strategic and operational leadership for Field Day research infrastructure, including planning, implementation, and sustainability Identifies research problems and develops complex research methodologies while publishing and presenting findings Builds and sustains communities of researchers, educators, and partners contributing to Field Day research infrastructure Required qualifications At least 10 years of experience leading research infrastructure or complex interdisciplinary research programs Demonstrated ability to independently identify research problems and design rigorous methodologies Experience analyzing and interpreting quantitative and/or qualitative research data Successful track record in developing competitive grant proposals and managing sponsored research activities Terminal degree (PhD or equivalent) in education or science
