Position Summary:

The Expediter / Sales Support position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring customer orders to help ensure products are processed, completed, and delivered to customers accurately and on time. This role works closely with Sales, Production, Shipping, and other departments to identify priorities, resolve order delays, and communicate order status. The position will also be cross-trained in key Sales functions to provide coverage when Sales team members are absent due to vacation, illness, or other scheduled or unscheduled leave.

• Monitor and expedite customer orders from order entry through shipment and delivery.
• Coordinate with Production, Shipping, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure customer deadlines are met.
• Identify potential order delays and proactively communicate issues to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain accurate order status information and provide timely updates to Sales and customers as needed.
• Assist with prioritizing urgent, expedited, and timesensitive customer orders.
• Crosstrain on Sales department processes, including customer inquiries, order entry, order status, quotes, and general customer support.
• Provide temporary Sales coverage during employee absences, vacations, and other periods of limited staffing.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and internal departments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in manufacturing, order processing, customer service, logistics, or sales support preferred. Strong communication, organization, follow-up, computer, and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Proficiency with ordermanagement systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other standard business applications preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to interpret purchase orders, acknowledgments, production schedules, and shipping documents.
• Experience communicating with customers regarding changing delivery conditions and available options.
