Mt Olympus Rehab and Nursing in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)! We are a close-knit group where providing our residents the best care possible is our #1 priority. We strive to improve the lives of our residents and their families, as well as our staff. We care about our CNAs and want to provide opportunities for them - which is why we have a "Nursing Tuition Reimbursement" program, where you can receive up to $500 a month (pre-tax) to go to nursing school. No contract required, but we do require that you work part time or full time, and finish your first 90-days with us to be eligible for this program. Schedule: 6PM to 6AM on SaturdayJob Description:Answer residents' call lights to determine needTurn and reposition residents while they are in bedProvide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercisingReview dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate dietRecord food and liquid intake and output as necessaryReporting changes in resident condition to nursing staffRequirements:An active CNA Certification, in good standing, issued by the state of UtahEffectively communicate on a personal level with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, etc.Able to make decisions independently when warrantedKnowledge of medical and nursing practices and proceduresThorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long term care
